SUJAL-AF (Antifoaming Agent – Solvent less)

INTRODUCTION:
"To inhibit and suppress the foam floated during various processes in the industry” is the main task SUJAL-AF carries out. The product is working on the principle of ‘surface tension’.

Foam during the fermentation in sugar factories & in production of alcohol is a highly complicated problem. This foam generates at a natural level because of evolution of gases during fermentation. During the fermentation of molasses in sugar factories & distilleries, a large amount of foam is generated in the fermentation vats owing to the type of fermentation being followed. It is also an essential part to control the abnormal level of foam to find out the high productivity.

CONTENTS OF THE SUJAL-AF:

SUJAL-AF contains organic phosphates, sulphonated oils with suitable additives and stabilizers in it. The product is a ready to use 100% active organic defoamer which contains no water or solvents to cut the activity. It has demonstrated excellent performance in the following applications: fermentation, distillation, paper processing, latex and adhesives, as well as effluent processing. It is a long lasting, fast penetrating system that demonstrates excellent stability to salts, pH change, and temperature.

DIRECTION FOR USE: APPLICATION
The recommended dosage is to start testing at 1000ppm and move up or down in use level as needed.
SUJAL-AF + water mixed as required to make the 15% to 45% concentration of SUJAL-AF mixture.
Ready SUJAL-AF mixture is then added to the foaming surface in fermentation vat at regular intervals, to bring the foam in vats at normal limits. For antifoaming application SUJAL-AF mixture should be added at short intervals regularly up to the process. All this process depends upon various local factors and will be determined as on experimental basis.

STORAGE:
Store the product in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.

PACKING:
The product is available in 5 to 200 kg HDPE carboys.
